This website is the product of preliminary work toward a multimedia project documenting the work of emerging Mississippi artists.Tim Gordon and Ali Colleen Neff have been working together to document expressive and material culture for seven years. In 2004, they moved from San Francisco to Clarksdale, Mississippi and have since been conducting ethnographic work in the area. Gordon holds and M.F.A. in photography from the California College of Arts and Crafts. Neff holds and M.A. in Folklore and is currently working toward a Ph.D. in Communications Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill.
